Mini-Mets
November 2007
Wacom Intuos 9×12, Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0
Another commissioned Snipe Hunt Mini – but this time, it was bought by Mets, not Speed Lancer. The character, a cyborg, uses his tough outer shell and his ability to change his parts (or “click out”) to his advantage. To this end, I thought the toy version could benefit from having useful tools pop out of it when needed. A Swiss Army action figure, if you will.
The character does not have eyes, but the little yellow cheek bulbs sort of look like wide-set childlike robot eyes. You can look at the face and appreciate it either way.
I never could find a good place to stick his wind-up key after I forgot to originally include it, so in the end I just settled for sticking it in his butt.
