Mini-Replay
March 2008

My second commissioned Mini for the month of March. A MARCH OF THE MINIS? BE WELL!
Replay’s request for this Mini was phrased in the following manner:

I would quite like to see a Mini-Fandango, fine body of work that they are. If you'd rather do something else or nothing at all, I'll only cry a little.
I would imagine he would have a hovering capability not dissimilar to this, only drawn better. But upon second glance I see Sasha has what I assume to be a hovering ability, but Fandango's I reckon would be more up and down than side to side.
OR NOW LOOKING BACK at Mini-Booyah on DevArt you said:
"Believe it or not, I already considered doing a Replay one, but I want it to be of Replay, not Armored Combat Droid Replay." So I guess you could do that instead. Either way you'd have a nice round number of eight.
Okay fine do MANBOYREPLAY but that means you'll have to come up with special abilities, because I can't remember how you play that game.
He’s a talker, isn’t he? Well, at the end of the day, we got something that looks altogether different from the other Minis. The removal of the little eyes lends a whole different personality to the picture.
Replay ended up gaining gloves in this picture, because
1.) the little Mini claws disturb me when they’re flesh-tone, and
2.) they match his boots so nicely.
It is also worth noting that this is the first Mini to use the color green. It is totally absent from the other Minis. As such, I celebrated it by making it the background color. Between that, the purple accents, and the orange stripes on his pants, Replay has turned out to be covered in secondary colors, thus cementing his place in history as an iconic villain.
I hope the picture is enough to satisfy him; he is perhaps my closest artistic peer in terms of talent, but more than that, his opinion means most to me.
