A hearty, boisterous people who hail from the mountains. Dwarves may be small in stature, but they are big on adventure.

PROS: Critical Challenge Rolls for observation allow you to sense nearby metal deposits. Roll a D4 to see what you find: rusty debris, scattered coinage, a mineral node, or a treasure chest.

CONS: Failing Challenge Rolls for observation will put your character into a sputtering rage. Needing to overcompensate for their shortcomings, your character will perform an unarmed attack against their nearest teammate or NPC.

Figuring out iconic imagery for various things in SHMORGASBORD has been fun. Nothing says dwarves like treasure and drinking, so I scattered some ores and gems next to a simple, but shiny, tankard.
