A hearty grin and the Two-Thumbs Salute is Mets’s go-to pose for any photographic opportunity. Too bad the kid doesn’t have much of a face, so you can only see the latter.

Reflective panels on his cheeks relay visual information to this unfortunate fellow’s optic nerves, while high-impact polymers and temperature-regulating fabric cover his entire body – except for the little hank of blonde hair up front that lets us know he’s still a little bit human.
